First Team Real Estate Gives Thanks By Giving Back To The Community

Here at First Team Real Estate, we care about the community that we serve and that’s why we love to give back and offer our support. This holiday season the entire First Team family of agents and offices are involved in donating to food drives, toy collections and local charities throughout all of Southern California. All of our offices and agents started off the holiday season by taking part in our First Team Real Estate $20,000 Challenge for Orangewood Children’s Foundation.

The company donated $20,000 to the charity to continue its mission of providing shelter to abused, neglected and abandoned children in Orange County and is encouraging the local community to contribute as well to raise a total of $40,000 by December 1st.

Supporting Our Local Communities

Working with the manager of the Fullerton Ralph’s Market on Harbor Blvd and the entire community from Yorba Linda to West Covina, the First Team Fullerton Office fights hunger each year in order to provide families in need a meal on Thanksgiving. Our agents distributed more than 10,000 grocery bags across the county and thanks to the generosity of local residents are feeding the hungry and needy. Filled with canned good donations and a lot of love, the First Team Fullerton Food Drive will feed thousands of families.

Starting a giving tradition, First Team Corona office will again participate in the food drive for Settlement House, a local Corona food bank. Also, the office will be giving again to the Spark of Love Toy Drive through the local Fire Dept, donating toys and food for holiday gift baskets to be distributed to needy families this holiday season. The Corona office will even have a fire truck (complete with a couple of cute firefighters!) come and pick up the donations.

First Team’s Irvine Office is looking forward to their Annual Auction in which the agents raise money for Families Forward, a local charity dedicated to helping homeless and low-income families in Orange County achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Each holiday season the agents search through their attics, garages, and basements for items to bring to the Annual Auction in which all proceeds are donated to Families Forward.  Their fellow agents bid on the items ranging from appliances and luggage to fancy fur coats and a weekend stays at a colleague’s timeshares. Over the years more than $2,500 has been raised through the generosity of the Irvine office.

Huntington Beach – South Office is donating to the US Marines Toys for Tots program. Already the office has raised over $600 heading toward their goal of $1,000.

The First Team Yorba Linda office is also involved in several different charity events with year including the Salvation Army, a shoe drive and Christmas Can Tree food drive. Even the corporate office is getting into the holiday spirit by giving to the less fortunate through the Adopt-A-Family program. The office has adopted 6 families and is showing true teamwork by banding together to buy presents for each and much-needed goods for Christmas.
