"My wife and I just purchased a home during what is probably the most challenging time to purchase a home during my lifetime of more than 50 years. As first-time homebuyers, using FHA financing, my wife and I were at a severe competitive disadvantage as we did not have the ability to make a 100% cash offer, or even an offer attached to a conventional loan.
