Melinda Curtis

Melinda Curtis Is a proud California native, living in Long Beach but originally from the Beach Cities, AKA the South Bay of Los Angeles. Melinda started her RE career in July of 2000. 

In 2017, Melinda and her partner Andrew happily became new residents of Long Beach, California. They’re enjoying everything Long Beach has to offer, “Living the Life' in their beautiful Alamitos Heights, next to California State University home.

Melinda has always been obsessed with helping people acquire their American Dream of home ownership. She feels her main purpose in life is helping Buyers & Sellers make that dream come true. She’s also worked for clients moving to or from 55+ communities, buying an investment property, Probate transactions,and relocation.

Before becoming a Realtor, Melinda’s last position was that of a licensed U.S. Customs House Broker with American Customs Brokers. Located in the Port of Long Beach, CA.(Her family’s business)

She was their Customer Service, International Sales, Ocean, and Air Departments Representative.

She secured contracts with overseas agencies in various Western European Sea Ports, with the goal of aligning them with her family’s business and creating a mutually beneficial relationship.

In her earlier years, Melinda took multiple classes at UCLA Extension for Business and Public Relations.

When she’s not busy with her clients, she enjoys cooking, creating recipes, and gardening in her organic vegetable and flower garden. She also has a worm compost bin in the backyard for use in the garden. She enjoys keeping up with her newlywed daughter and son-in-law, who live in San Diego. She has two adorable rescued white kitties, Jackson and Bella.
