Debbie and Amie are a mother/daughter team with over 37 years of combined real estate experience. They promise honest, trustworthy service and care deeply about maintaining home values in the community.

Debbie graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing, and worked as a registered nurse for many years in various capacities. She began her real estate career in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1984, where she
was named Top Seller during her 6-year tenure at Pat Stewart Realtors. She received her GRI degree there, and also found a great niche market working with doctors and nurses she knew, matching them up with wonderful properties.

The family relocated to Huntington Beach in 1991, and Debbie took a break from real estate to focus on raising her 3 daughters (of which Amie is the eldest) and working as a nurse at her husband’s medical clinic. Once her youngest daughter started college, she decided to revisit her real estate career. She passed her Broker’s exam with flying colors, and earned Top Agent awards for 2010-2012. Debbie is also a Certified Negotiating Expert (CNE), as well as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR).

Amie graduated from University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in English, and went on to receive her master’s degree in English at Cal State Long Beach. After working at an advertising agency learning all she could about marketing, she started her own business as a freelance copywriter, creating marketing materials (website verbiage, direct mail, social media marketing, print advertising, etc.) for small and large businesses. She joined forces with her mom in 2011, first managing all Debbie’s marketing efforts, and eventually falling in love with the industry and obtaining her real estate license in 2012.

Debbie and Amie joined First Team Real Estate in 2013, expanding their reach to include all of Orange County. They ranked #1 for overall sales volume and #4 for units closed at their Mission Viejo office for 2014, as well as being included in the company-wide Hall of Fame.

Their backgrounds and life experiences have given them both great appreciation for people who deliver on their promises – and they strive to always be those people. They promise to work with and for you, providing the best, most comprehensive service as you buy or sell your home!
