With all of the horror stories of how the market is currently and us having a limited budget we thought it would have taken much longer and that it would have been much harder. My wife and I had been "window shopping" for a while online but had no idea what we were doing. Once we had an idea of what our budget was Marc helped us find homes in our budget and our desired areas. Not long after that, we set up our first full day of house visits and found the house we eventually bought. Marc had built rapport with the selling agent and sold us. In the end, we were counter-offered because the seller had received more offers from investors well over our initial offer but because Marc selling us to the seller they wanted to work with us. We ended up accepting the counteroffer and buying the home under what it was appraised for! We did all of this under 30 days after first seeing the house! It feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience and as Marc told us "the deal of the year!"
