Prom Do-Over

Thursday, June 1st

Hosted at the Museum of Broken Relationships, Prom Do-Over is a throwback to the 90’s and a chance for you to get that iconic night right. Dance among the throwback high school dance décor, take a prom pic and write on the “10 Things I Hate About My Ex” wall display. There will be a food truck stationed outside and drinks available for purchase. Prom tickets are $25.

Pacific Islander Festival

Saturday, June 3rd – Sunday, June 4th

Discover the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific Islands through traditional craft demonstrations, educational programs, and live entertainment, including music and dance performances. Watch hula, listen to Tahitian drumming, try out ancient Hawaiian games, and admire artisans as they create traditional weavings. This will be the 14th annual Pacific Islander Festival will feature various cultures, including Hawaiian, Marshallese, Tahitian, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Kiribati, and Maori.

Los Angeles River Ride

Sunday, June 4th

Join over 2,000 other riders, and enjoy a great day of bicycling fun, exploration, a post-ride expo, a raffle, live music, and more. All participants receive a t-shirt, goodie bag, and finisher's medal. All proceeds benefit the work of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, a non-profit organization working to make all communities in L.A. County healthy, safe, and fun places to ride bikes. Routes are available to start from The Autry in Griffith Park or from Marina Green Park in Long Beach.

LA Design Festival

Thursday, June 8th – Sunday, June 11th

The LA Design Festival celebrates this city's rich design culture.  The definition of design is purposely broad to ensure that the festival is reflective LA’s diversity and talent.  The weekend kicks off with an Opening Night Party and Fundraiser on Thursday, June 8th followed by events all weekend long. Balboa Strawberry Festival

The Annual Balboa Strawberry Festival is a celebration of summer, food and fun, held in Encino on Ventura Blvd. The Festival is centered on local residents' love for delicious, California grown strawberries. Featuring tons of strawberry themed food and drink, plus live music, dancing, rides and games for the whole family, this is the PERFECT way to celebrate summer, and it’s totally free to attend!

Special Olympics Summer Games

Saturday, June 10th – Sunday, June 11th

Summer Games attracts more than 1,100 athletes from across Southern California who will compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons. The Games features our six summer sports -- aquatics, athletics (track & field), basketball, bocce, golf, and gymnastics. Summer Games is one of two annual championships held at the conclusion of each sport season, with athletes coming together from throughout SoCal. Held this year at CSULB, you can come and join Fans In The Stands to cheer on the athletes as a spectator; you don’t even need to register as a volunteer.

ARTsea Marina Del Rey

LA’s Marina is turning into a pop-up arts district! Come enjoy art, dance, music, food, and more at Marina del Rey’s party on the beach. Shop handmade goods, check out art galleries and collections, join in one of the workshops, indulge with the food trucks and wine and beer garden, stop by the stage for live music, dance performances and more live entertainment or play in all day volleyball games and hula hooping.

E3 is an annual videogame conference at show at the LA Convention Center. At E3, tens of thousands of the best, brightest, and most innovative professionals in the video game industry come together to show off all of their cool new stuff. Yeah, it’s pretty cool. For three days, leading-edge companies, groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products will be showcased. Check back on the site during June for a list of the new products being spotlighted this year.

Los Angeles Film Festival

Wednesday, June 14th – Thursday, June 22nd

The LA Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film fests in the city returns with panels, screenings, and premieres. The week of films will feature everything from independent, international, feature, documentary and short films as well as music videos. Good Food Gala

The Los Angeles Food Policy Council will be hosting their second biannual fundraiser Good Food Gala at the spectacular Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles. Revel in the bounty of Southern California as local farmers and LA's finest chefs pair up to bring you an unforgettable tasting menu, served alongside craft beverages. The night is all about collaborative efforts to make a more just and sustainable food system in SoCal.

LA Weekly Tacolandia

Saturday, June 17th

The third annual Tacolandia is coming this month! Enjoy unlimited tasty gourmet tacos from over 120 taco vendors. The party will also include several cash bars to purchase beer/wine/cocktails and mariachi music held at El Pueblo De Los Angeles. General admission is $45 and includes entry, unlimited food samples and access to the bar.

LA Dessert Fest

Because dessert is always a good idea. Held at The Cooper Design Space in Downtown LA, this ultimate cheat day will include dozens of dessert vendors form macarons and s’mores to artisan twinkies and ice cream. The day will also include workshops form top bloggers, influencers, and professionals in the industry. General admission is $10 and workshop tickets are $50.

Annual LAWineFest

Boots & Brew Country Music Festival

This Saturday beer and music festival is all about celebrating friends, beer and great country music! Pasadena Chalk Festival

Saturday, June 17th - Sunday, June 18th

Going on Father’s Day Weekend is the 25th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival. Artists will be creating chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk for viewing, each volunteering 20 hours of his or her talent. Admission is free, plus there will be a kid’s chalkland area with free face painting and supplies to create Father’s Day cards from 12-5PM on Saturday and Sunday. The Pasadena Chalk Festival is produced by Paseo Colorado and the Light Bringer Project, as a financial benefit for the nonprofit arts organization, raising proceeds for vital arts and learning programs in the schools and cultural opportunities for those of all ages.

L.A. Beer Week

Saturday, June 17th – Sunday, June 25th

The big Kickoff Festival goes down Saturday, June 17th at the Los Angeles Center Studios with an awesome festival featuring over 75 craft breweries, live music, great food, and more. Produced by the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild, LA Beer Week will feature the largest number of Los Angeles County-based craft breweries -- more than any other festival in town! Fight Club With Live Score

Thursday, June 22nd

Come experience Fight Club like you never have before - with a live musical score accompanying this cult classic at the historic Wiltern Theater. The doors open at 7PM and the move starts at 8PM. VIP ticket ($50) gets you reserved seating, entrance into the preferential line and a commemorative poster, General Admission is $30.

Long Beach Bayou Festival

In its 31st year, the Long Beach Bayou Festival is proud to continue its time-honored legacy in the city by the sea. The Long Beach Bayou Festival will be filled with cultural music, cuisine, and dance inspired by New Orleans, Louisiana Bayou Country. Long Beach Summerfest

Beer Camp On Tour in Long Beach

Beer Camp on Tour will be taking over the Queen Mary, bringing hundreds of craft beers, great food trucks, live music and good times for the festival. All tastings are included in the price of your ticket along with a commemorative taster. Early access is $75, general admission is $55 and designated driver tickets are $40.

Arroyo Seco Weekend

Venue opens at 12PM each day

This summer concert right outside the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena has an amazing line up of musicians. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Alabama Shakes, Mumford & Sons, Weezer. The list goes on and on. The two-day affair is called Arroyo Seco Weekend, and it features some of the best touring acts in the country, along with a collection of Los Angeles's best chefs.

The 6th season of the Night Market kicks off in Arcadia with hundreds of food, merchandise, arts, crafts, and entertainment options for one of the biggest food festivals of the year.
