Long Beach Greek Festival By The Sea

The Long Beach Greek Festival and Cultural Event is a community celebration of Hellenic culture. During the festival, our church grounds transform into a Grecian Village complete with all the best the Greeks have to offer. The festival includes authentic Greek dance performers, free Greek dance lessons, authentic Greek food and pastries, cooking lessons, full meals, beverages, vendor booths featuring an array of exotic gifts and artwork, a children’s carnival area, and continuous live Greek music provided by The Olympians!
Long Beach New Blues Festival

Over 30 acts, on 2 stages, over 2 days enjoy the soothing blues music for Labor Day weekend. Artists include The King Brothers, Atomic Road Kings, Ana Popovic, Reverend Shawn Amos and more top notch acts. Touted as the largest arts and crafts fair in Southern California, Fiesta Hermosa features 300+ artists and crafters including photographers, painters, handcrafters, sculptors, jewelry makers and more. The fun goes down every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend each year. Check out the diverse food court with 18 different kinds of ethnic food, beer and wine garden, live music from tribute bands, carnival rides and more fun along the pier.
HBD LA 5K

HBD (Happy Birthday) LA 5K is a race celebrating the birthday of the City of Los Angeles. This race represents a true expression of love and appreciation for Los Angeles. Starting at La Plaza , near the site where Los Angeles was declared a city in 1781, the race features both a scenic and historic route under the night sky against Downtown LA’s bright lights. This race is presented by BlacklistLA, a non-profit organization that aims to engage the Los Angeles community in exciting athletic events.
Burbank International Film Festival

The Burbank International Film Festival received a record breaking 750 submissions this year from independent filmmakers across the world. Screenings will be held at the Burbank AMC in Downtown. The weekend will include screenings of films submitted plus anniversary screenings including Starship Troopers. Special events include after parties and a closing night dinner and awards gala.

LA River Boat Race

On September 9, 2017, the Glendale Narrows will again come alive with the now 4th annual LA River Boat Race. Paddlers of all ages and abilities will a find this a fun and safe exploration of our changing waterway. Boats and gear are provided. Plus our new Boat Float Pageant and Parade gives visitors a new way to engage with the river and the community around it. Participation is "pay what you can" and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

The lobsters are coming to the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach for the 21st annual Lobster Festival. The fun includes a karaoke lounge Friday and Saturday night from 6-10PM, dance floor and lessons, live sports tent, line-dancing Sunday, live entertainment, kids stage, inflatable bounces and more. This is more than just a chance to chow down on delicious lobster, the fun includes carnival games, more food, arts & crafts booths and plenty more to explore.
California Beer Festival

The Legendary California Beer Festival (CBF) is coming Ventura for the Annual California Beer Festival in Downtown Venture bringing two days of fun, sun and suds! Enjoy live entertainment, flavorful food and of course, great craft beer! Friday kicks off the event with Food and Beer pairing from 5:30-8:30PM. Saturday is craft beer heaven with samples from all across the beer spectrum (85 different breweries) plus live entertainment. Sunday is a special Boots & Brews Country Music Festival with country music, line dancing, and more great beers.
Los Angeles Zoo Roaring Nights: Battle of the Decades

For the night, your two favorite decades go head-to-head for one very special evening featuring ‘80s legend DJ Richard Blade and the ‘90s-loving Boombox Heroes.. How, like, totally radical is that? Or is it all that and a bag of chips? You decide! This installment of the Roaring Nights at the LA Zoo will include pop-up zoo keeper talks, special animal encounters, LA's favorite food trucks, lawn games and more.
Moompetam: Native American Festival

Native American culture is brought to the forefront at the Aquarium of the Pacific Moompetam Festival in Long Beach. This weekend celebration will feature traditional cultural crafts, storytelling, educational programs, live demonstrations, music, and dance celebrating the indigenous California maritime cultures, including Tongva, Chumash, Acjachemen, Costanoan, Luiseno, and Kumeyaay.

Held at the beautiful Rainbow Lagoon Park in Downtown Long Beach, this family-friendly music festival will have something for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the great music, all your favorites from last year are back including the Kids Area with crafts, games, and the "Instrument Petting Zoo", craft brews on tap, gourmet food trucks and booths, Beard & Mustache Contest, open Bluegrass jam, and more. General admission is $40 and VIP is $75 which includes access to separate bar with exclusive craft beer and cocktails plus a great view of the main stage.
Redondo Beach Lobster Festival

Now in its 22nd year, the Redondo Beach Lobster Festival is the area's best outdoor event of the year. This waterfront festival will serve fresh Maine lobster dinners, plus Steak and Lobster Dinners featuring Certified Angus Beef ® Center-Cut New York Strip Steak and Maine Lobster Tail or a stand-alone 12 oz. Certified Angus Beef ® Center-Cut New York Strip Steak dinner. Abbot Kinney Festival

The Abbot Kinney Festival takes place along a mile-long stretch of the world-famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard, arguably the "coolest block in America". The eclectic boutiques, artisan eateries and influential art galleries infuse the festival with a local flavor that makes this event unique and not to be missed. Held on the last Sunday in September, the day of fun food trucks, free admission, beer gardens, live music, kids rides and games in beautiful sunny Venice.
Music Tastes Good

This music and food festival in Downtown Long Beach features dozens of artists all weekend long. Single day tickets range from $75 to $225. Check out the lineup of performers all weekend long and get ready to experience Long Beach the way it should – great music and great food bringing people together. Headliners includes Ween and Sleater-Kinney.
Wiggle Waggle Walk
Sunday, September 25th
The Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk raises money for the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA. Bring your furry friend to this family-friendly event including a 1K or 3K walk around the beautiful Rose Bowl. Animal lovers and four legged friends alike will come together for a great cause, prizes, fun and camaraderie. There will be prizes for the top fundraiser, top donor, top team and a canine couture costume contest!
