There are tons of ways to celebrate summer this month with events in the Inland Empire this June 2017. From beer and barbecue to festivals and concerts, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are keeping busy. Check out the line-up of monthly events, and for even more fun things to do in Southern California, take a look at our list of events in Orange County and LA County as well for June 2017.

Beaumont Cherry Festival

When: Thursday, June 1st – Sunday, June 4th
Where: Stewart Park, Beaumont

All weekend long enjoy all the cherry treats you can handle, plus live entertainment, carnival games and rides, food, vendor booths and more.  Virtually the entire community comes out to celebrate so don’t miss out! Nothing says summer like a piece of cherry pie at a community fair. The Cherry Festival Car show will be going on Saturday starting at 10AM and the Parade begins Saturday at 10:30AM along Beaumont Avenue.

Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week

When: Friday, June 2nd– Sunday, June 11th
Where: Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage

The Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week includes two weeks of great places to eat, play and stay with great prices so you can enjoy more great stuff this summer. It's the perfect time to visit your favorite restaurant (or try a new one), explore area activities, relax at a spa, or enjoy a resort vacation. Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival

When: Friday, June 2nd – Sunday, June 4th 
Where: Lake Skinner Recreation Area, Winchester

The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival offers live entertainment, wine tasting in the wine garden, a kids faire, arts & crafts, a food court and tons of exhibitors. Wine tasting features different premium wines from numerous Temecula Valley wineries as well as others from Southern California and a selection of beers as well. Horse Town Brew N’ Que Festival

When: Friday, June 3rd – Sunday, June 5th
Where: George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, Norco

Chow down on award winning BBQ from the nation’s top pit masters and prized craft beer as brew and barbeque teams compete for thousands of dollars in cash,. The cook off will feature completions in four mouth-watering categories: Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Pork. Local microbreweries in SoCal will also show off with IPAs, lagers, ales and more. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice award and kick off summer right. Friday night is the VIP Reception, Saturday is the big festival with tastings, music and more, and Sunday is judgment day!

Splash House

When: Friday, June 9th – Sunday, June 11th
Where: Palm Springs

It’s CRAZY HOT by June in Palm Springs, so why not cool off with an insane pool party? Splash House is a pool and music Festival hosted across three different hotels for one amazing weekend of wet and wild fun. With shuttles running non-stop, guests can hop freely between the poolside stages to catch their favorite acts. Check out the website for ticket info and a full list of performers. Spirit West Coast 2016

When: Friday, June 9th
Where: Ontario

Spirit West Coast is a SoCal Christian music festival including a full day of award-winning performances, speakers and activities for all ages. This year’s line up includes TobyMac, Crowder, Mac Powell (from Third Day), Phil Wickham, Zach Williams, Hollyn and more. The event will take place at the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario. Spirit West Coast will then be traveling to Concord on June 11th and Del Mar on June 17th.

Lavender Festival

When: Friday, June 9th -11th & 16th - 18th 10AM-5PM
Where: Highland Springs Resort, Cherry Valley

Did you know that there’s a festival to celebrate the start of the lavender harvest season? It happens out in Cherry Valley and the 12th annual festival promises family fun, including guided tours in horse-drawn wagons, demonstrations on how lavender oil is extracted, opportunities to taste lavender-inspired dishes and live music. It takes place at a 2,400-acre historic landmark in the San Gorgonio Pass that was used as a stagecoach stop in the mid-1800s.

Pechanga Microbrew & Craft Beer Festival

When: Saturday, June 10th @ 12PM-5PM
Where: Pechanga Casino & Resort

This will be the 9th annual festival and to accompany all the beer is the Pechanga Chef's Chili Cook-Off. The event includes live music, a silent auction, chili tastings, and of course tons of beer samples. General admission is $50 getting you all included beer and chili tasting from 1-5PM. Juneteenth Festival

When: Saturday, June 17th @ 12PM-4PM
Where: San Bernardino

Juneteenth is a celebration of the rich culture and history of African Americans in the United States. This will be a fun, family-friendly event with lots to explore! The fun includes free food and beverages for all attendees, live entertainment, arts and activities for kids, games, vendors and services as well.

Palm Springs International ShortFest

When: Tuesday, June 20th – Monday, June 26th
Where: Palm Springs

Approximately 325 shorts are selected and screened in 90-minute themed programs, with many of the remaining titles available for viewing in the Film Market. Get individual tickets for each film, forum/panel and event or enjoy the festival with an all-inclusive pass for priority admission to regular screenings without a ticket. Tickets for Opening & Closing Night are on sale now, plus you can check out the virtual reality lounge for free on June 22nd and 23rd from 11AM-7PM.

World Fighting Championships 73

When: Saturday, June 24th @ 7PM
Where: Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage

The World Fighting Championship Boxing event will take place at the Agua Caliente Casino this June, bringing in the best sports athletes in the world to showcase their talent. General admission tickets start at $25. Don’t miss the high-energy event!
