Events in Southern California September 2021

This September there are some seriously fun events in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire. Kick off the month with the Orange International Street Fair and don’t miss all the music festivals, food events, beer tastings, and family fun to follow. Orange International Street Fair

The Orange International Street Fair is BACK for 2021! Filling Old Towne Orange with food booths from around the world, the street fair is all about delicious eats. Each street leading out of the Old Towne Plaza features a selection of international food and drinks, including German, Irish, English, Polynesian, American, Greek, Japanese, Swiss, Italian, Lebanese, Australian, and Mexican areas. Enjoy live music all weekend long plus the Children’s street, arts and crafts, community booths, beer booths, and more.

Maritime Festival in Dana Point

In celebration of California’s rich maritime history, the Ocean Institute annually hosts a fleet of historic tall ships that sail into Dana Point Harbor.  This extraordinary event takes place each year the second weekend in September.  History comes alive, as crews from each ship, along with historical re-enactors, engage the public in cannon battles, pirate adventures, mermaid encounters, ship tours, and much more.

The Ohana Fest

In addition to offering a full day in the sun with a diverse music lineup, Ohana will donate a portion of proceeds to the San Onofre Parks Foundation and the Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association. The festival includes craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, artisan food from local restaurants, food trucks, and entertainment all day long.

San Juan Capistrano Greek Festival

San Juan Capistrano’s annual Greek Festival is hosted by the Saint Basil Greek Orthodox Church. All weekend long come to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Greece.  Enjoy Greek wine tasting and beers at the sports bar taverna while listening to live Greek music. Watch a Greek folk dance performance and learn to dance like Zorba. There will also be kids’ activities, a Greek shopping bazaar, and church tours. Admission and parking is free!

Long Beach Greek Festival
