Fullerton Office Food Drive
For over 12 years now, First Team Real Estate’s Fullerton and Whittier offices have been holding an annual canned food drive. This year our agents and staff distributed over 10,000 bags to our neighborhood farms. The turnout was remarkable!
The amount of food collected was our best year yet. Our annual food drive is held to help fight hunger for those in need and to help stock the food bank shelves of 2 different charities, Pathways of Hope and The Salvation Army.
The Fullerton Office supplies the and staff with empty grocery bags & the stapled flyers needed to promote the Food Drive and the agents then go door to door in local neighborhoods to drop off the bags & return to pick them up on the scheduled date. Another year, another successful drive serving our community!
26th Annual Santa Photo Day
The Huntington Beach South Office will soon be hosting it’s 26th annual Santa Photo Day this Saturday, December 5th. Friends and families from all over the county will line up to take a free photo with Santa; pets are welcome too! There will be a Christmas Tree and gift card give aways, carolers, trains and treats for all who pay us a visit.
So far, the Huntington Beach South Office has collected over $2,000.00 in toys which will be donated to Toys For Tots and they’re still collecting! The office will also be accepted canned food donations to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Christ CanTree Drive in Yorba Linda
Our Yorba Linda Office is giving back this year by participating in the Christmas CanTree Drive.CanTree Drive is a great way to give back and serve the community which is why the Yorba Linda office has set their goal at 8 tons of non-perishable food! Our agents help collect these donations from their farm as well as family and friends. All non-perishable food can be dropped off at our office so if you’d like to help feed the hungry right here in Orange County, stop by and donate.
The “Chrismas CanTree” Program is a statewide project that began in the early 1980’s and has helped alleviate hunger for over 30 years. The drive is going on until Dec 15th and so far our agents have collected over 75 bags so far full of items!
Our Secret Santa Tim Morissette
Tim Morissette from our Irvine Office is not only a top South Orange County agent, he’s our favorite jolly man in red this time of year.
As families begin to gather for Thanksgiving and all of the wonderful holidays ahead, First Team Real Estate agent Tim Morissette’s holiday routine of arranging dates for Santa’s visits across Foothill Ranch is well underway.
“For 15 years, I’ve been honored to arrange for Santa and one of his elves to visit families during the holidays, check chimneys to make sure Santa can fit and deliver some gifts for kids that parents set on the doorstep before the visit,” explained Tim Morissette. “This holiday tradition is great for families, and in turn their donation to ‘Santa’ of canned goods for South Orange County Outreach spreads holiday joy across our community.”
Alexander Yu’s Personal Blanket Drive
Alexander Yu from our Laguna Beach office took it upon himself to spread the love and warmth this holiday season.
“Last Winter I stopped into a Rite Aid to get out of the cold. I noticed that blankets were on sale, so I bought their entire supply and did the same at 3 other Rite Aids,” says Yu. “I took these down to Downtown Santa Ana by the Courthouse and Civic Center and handed them to the cold and homeless.”
This year Alexander did it again and personally handed out blankets on Skid Row in Downtown LA this Thanksgiving.
Home Office Angel Tree
Here at the First Team Home Office in Irvine, we’re doing what we can as well to make holiday wishes come true by being a part of the Salvation Army Angel Tree campaign. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is a holiday program designed to raise in-kind gifts to assist families who are in crisis as a result of medical issues, unemployment, homelessness, medical issues or other difficult circumstances and who otherwise wouldn’t have the resources to celebrate Christmas. It’s so exciting to see tags disappear from the tree and presents appear under the boughs!
