Located in western Orange County, Stanton is a city comprising three square miles with over 38,305 residents. A lower-income community relative to its neighbors, Stanton has many townhomes and small residential units built prior to 1960, and only 99 new residential units have been built within the city’s limits since 1975. However, the Stanton Redevelopment Agency has been extremely successful in improving the quality of life in the city through revitalization of its commercial and residential areas, and its rapid growth in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors have resulted in a balanced community, with a deep sense of pride in its accomplishments. Its most notable features are the Adventureland Park and Hobby City, which are located within the city limits.
