Yorba Linda is an affluent city located in Orange County, approximately 13 miles northeast of Downtown Santa Ana, and 40 miles southeast of Downtown Los Angeles. A residential community of single-family homes on large lots, Yorba Linda has continued to grow and prosper and is now home to an estimated 64,000 residents who take advantage of the championship-designed course at the Black Gold Golf Club, excellent schools, shopping and dining meccas, lush landscaping and some 100 miles of equestrian, biking and walking trails throughout the city’s upscale neighborhoods. Money Magazine noted Yorba Linda as one of the nation’s best places to retire in 2006. Also of note, U.S. President Richard Nixon was born in Yorba Linda in 1913 and his presidential library and birthplace are located here.
