Thanks to the Donegan Burns Foundation students will participate in the “Fast For Word” after school program four days a week for a total of twelve weeks.
The district is also offering a seven-week program Loving Solutions to educate parents with children ages 5-10 on individualized problem solving techniques for challenging behaviors. Parents will be interacting with other parents within the school district and developing skills to help their children succeed in school and at home. It is events and programs like these designed to help both students and parents succeed that set Laguna Beach Unified School District apart from others. They are also a top performing district in California with a collective API score of 904 – far surpassing the state benchmark of 800.
