Getting Schooled On Homebuyer Trends [Infographic]

School is back in session and it’s time to take a look at what that means for homebuyers. Hint, a lot.

According to a recent study from realtor.com, homes in higher-rated public school districts are, on average, 49% more expensive than the national median, and 77% more expensive than schools located in lower-ranked districts in their own area. That alone tells you how important schools are to real estate buyers.

Homes in higher-rated school districts also sell faster and are viewed, on average, 26% more online. Check out the infographic below from CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® for more on how schools are ruling the home search for parents.
