Queensland, AUS– Mihir Gandhi, long time real estate professional and member of the First Team family, First Team Top Producer Award 2020, 2021 and First Team Hall of Fame silver honoree 2018, is traveling to Queensland in Australia to compete for Team USA in the Cricket World Cup. Team USA is one of 12 teams competing in the event that is taking place from September 2nd until September 15th.
After Mihir moved to the USA almost 40 years back, he believed Cricket was not played in the States. Luckily, after a small gap Mihir was able to continue pursuing his passion and has played for the last 30 years with the Southern California Cricket Association. “Cricket is a team sport and I feel the same concept of team work applies to real estate. For my real estate clients, I go to ‘bat’ for them and I always play for the win!”
Masters Cricket USA (MCUSA) will be participating in the World Cup for the first time and Mihir is on top of the world to represent his team as Vice Captain for Team USA. Mihir went on to state, “To represent TEAM USA as Vice-Captain is an absolute honor and matter of pride! This is a historic moment for all of us participating and the entire Masters Cricket USA organization. We have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time!”
MCUSA logo incorporates “The Second Innings” due to this particular league being created for men in their 40’s and up. Despite the tedious and hectic schedule that is set for the upcoming weeks, Mihir describes this moment as a “dream come true moment.” Mihir also encourages anyone who is interested in Cricket should look into Masters Cricket USA. He believes everyone should maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle and Cricket is the perfect way to stay fit for people in their “second inning” of life.
