FirstTeam agent Kate Olivas from our Seal Beach – Rossmoor office has grown her business by 379% since last year! Humble, hardworking, and dedicated to her clients, her number one priority continues to be providing outstanding service to her buyers and sellers.

What has helped you grow your business over the last year?

To be honest, I believe the #1 reason I have seen such success is due to God’s favor. It has been so amazing to be able to serve my clients in what can only be described as a crazy year. I have been able to achieve some things that many would say are impossible, but I’ve successfully saved my clients money on sales and even helped contingent clients secure their dream home. I am beyond blessed that I get to do this every day as my career!

How do you ensure your clients succeed when buying & selling in today’s market?

When representing sellers, I not only help them achieve top dollar but also secure the best terms in the shortest amount of time. For my buyers, I get creative and look uniquely at each home – and each seller situation – to write the most competitive offer while still protecting them contractually.

When protecting my clients and managing transactions, my goal is to make things as stress-free as possible. I work hard to stay in front of any issues so I can get them taken care of before they arise, and I take as much off my clients’ plate as I can so they can focus on their life changes. It is not about me, it’s all about them.

Why have you decided to build your business with FirstTeam?

Since joining FirstTeam in 2017, I have consistently been impressed with the level of Marketing, tools, and support the company offers agents. I personally utilize our luxury partnership with Christie’s International Real Estate to reach the local luxury market, and most importantly, the unbelievably supportive managers in my office, Fred Nassab and Antony Bitar. In my mind, no one can compare with the level of service they provide – we are so blessed to have them.

What sets you apart from other agents in your local market?

Starting my career in San Clemente and now living in Rossmoor, I have a wider range of clients than most local agents. Working primarily with past clients and referrals, I enjoy helping people navigate the county as a whole with my vital connections throughout all of Southern California. This is especially beneficial when helping out of area buyers pinpoint not just a home, but a community they will love. I also enjoy giving back to our Military. I previously worked for the Marine Corps and am proud to be an active part of the company’s Military on the Move Program, offering savings to active and retired veterans when they buy and sell a home.

If you could sell anyone’s house – alive or dead – who would it be & why?

I would love to sell La Casa Pacifica in San Clemente, also known as The Western White House. I have always loved the area and this particular home has so much history. It was also modeled after a country home in Spain, and as I previously lived in the south of Spain, I have extra love and appreciation for the architecture!
